C. Joseph Vijay is the founder, president and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He registered the party on 2 February 2024, emphasizing the slogan 'Pirappokkum Ella Uyirkkum' (All are equal by birth). Under his leadership, the party contested the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections solo, securing 108 seats to form the government.
